Summary: Oops.

Comment: It has a strap so it can be attached to your belt. It stays closed via a magnetic snap, assisted by velcro. To open the PSC-5000 case the front pulls away at the top. A small, second case comes with the package. It's about the size of a 1-1/2"" cube. It can be used to hold a spare memory card and a backup battery for the camera. The second case attaches to the side of the camera case. The case is compact and well built.

I ordered this case by mistake and it was too small for my camera. I should have ordered the Canon PSC-4000 Deluxe Leather Case that is for the Canon SX10IS Digital Camera which I have. I returned the PSC-5000, but after looking it over, I was impressed and did order the PSC-4000.

Summary: Nice case for G9

Comment: Great case for my G9. Well made and keeps my camera protected. I use the belt clip but it comes with a carrying strap too. There's a small side case for extra memory cars if needed.

Comment: This is a must have for your average photographer that wants to protect his/her investment. By the way it looks nice as well and attached to your belt.

Comment: I bought it; I tried it; I sent it back. This case is bulky, awkward to use, and provides limited protection. It is most unfortunate that this not-inexpensive camera is sold without a case of any kind, but this is certainly not a reasonable solution to that problem. Surely somebody is marketing a more useful case for the G9! I am still looking for it.

Summary: Best Case out there for the G9

Comment: I bought this case, and it works great. It has a velcrow and magnetic button to secure case closure. It's tough leather, and fits nicely on the belt. It's not really designed for around the neck or shoulder carrying, but you could. There's no zipper like other cases and it's really easy to pop out of the case for a quick shot.
