Comment: I grew up watching the Energizer Bunny on TV....well,no more. Recently, a friend gave me some Eneloop batteries. I am simply amazed and am so very satisfied with this product. Don't get me wrong, I LIKE the bunny, I just prefer THIS product more...!

Comment: Sanyo eneloops are the best! I have a pair of Sony rechargeables and they only last a day or two in the kitchen drawer. These eneloops have lasted MONTHS in the drawer without needing a recharge. They last a long
time in a device as well. Money well spent!

Comment: I really don't buy anything but Eneloops, or the like anymore. It's nice to have batteries that aren't at 20% power in a week or two of being in the drawer.
Of the new class of hybrid batteries I really like Eneloops the best, although Rayovac Hybrids are pretty good also. I've found the Eneloops are the least likely to loose charge capacity and the most reliable overall.
Summary: Disappointed with Eneloop Batteries
Comment: After reading the reviews I thought this would be the perfect rechargeable battery for my camera. I was wrong. They do not hold a charge longer than a day, if that. Also it takes longer to take a picture using these batteries than other rechargeable. I made 2 phone calls to the company asking if they have a return or exchange policy. They have not returned my phone call.

The classical advantages of rechargeable batteries are: high performance, especially if high discharge currents are required ( like in digital cameras ) cheap in use, because they can be recharged many times; environmental friendly, because one rechargeable battery replaces 1000 disposable batteries; good performance at low temperatures. A special feature found in eneloop batteries from Sanyo is an extremely efficient (low) dormant discharge rate. That means, when not used, the charge is retained for long periods. Of course you (and we) recommend using these batteries over and over/ Just in case you don't, you can be assured the battery will retain up to 85% of its charge over the course of a year.Because the eneloop has a very low self-discharge, SANYO can ship the batteries in a charged state so they're ready to use out of the pack. In contrast to a disposable battery the eneloop can be charged 1000 times. This saves the environment and your purse. Thus one eneloop saves the waste of 999 disposable batteries. Even if you consider the slightly higher cost of the eneloop compared to a disposable battery and add the cost for the charger and the energy consumed by the charger, the investment for one eneloop returns easily after a few charging cycles. Imagine how much money you have spent for batteries in your life. Now there is an end to this spending!
