Summary: DigiPower BP-CN5L
Comment: I ordered the DigiPower battery but was sent the wrong product, a Power2000 battery. Amazon will not stand behind this order and send me the correct battery. Amazon customer service claims the DigiPower is not available but it is still listed in their currect merchandise but with a higher price than when I ordered. Poor customer service.

Comment: Ceap and effective alternative to running out of power. I've used it for well more than a year with no trouble. I don't notice the 850mah (haven't verified) being a problem. it works fine and gives me more than enough time to get the original charged. The price is fine. If you don't have your camera yet, you may not realize how small these batteries are and how easy it is to keep one with you.

Comment: The battery doesn't even last 1 year before it stops taking a charge and dies. Don't waste your money.

Summary: Cheaper and the same power
Comment: I had just bought at new Canon digital camera and wanted to have a spare battery. When I go on trips, the extra battery is a lot easier to pack than the recharger.
The product is indistinguishable in use from the original that shipped from Canon.
