Summary: It works

Comment: Yes, it's expensive - I don't know if it's overpriced though. The important thing is that it works. I had thought I could easily make my own swabs from the "other" company's pads and then use the expensive solution to clean the sensor on my homemade pad. It doesn't work. Yesterday I got these swabs and the vdust formula. I followed the instructions - wiped with the dry swab, put two drops of fluid on the swab, counted to thirty and wiped once. Then I took a picture of the sky and looked for the spots, There were none.

I have a lot of money in my EOS20D with lenses and other accessories. A lot more than I thought I'd ever have in a camera. So - the price of these things was high but worth it to have my camera take clean pictures.
